Google Meet - Jabra Call Control support
Google Meet - Jabra Call Control support is a Chrome add-on that enhances your Google Meet experience by adding Jabra call control support. With this add-on, you can enjoy seamless integration between your Jabra device and Google Meet, making your meetings more efficient and convenient.
One of the main features of this add-on is the auto busy light, which turns on during meetings to let others know that you are busy. This is especially useful in open office environments where interruptions can be a common occurrence. Additionally, the add-on syncs your device mute status with the Google Meet mute button, allowing you to easily control your mute settings from your Jabra device.
Another handy feature is the ability to mute Google Meet directly from your Jabra device. This eliminates the need to navigate to the Google Meet interface to mute/unmute yourself, saving you time and effort. Additionally, you can conveniently exit the meeting using the hang-up button on your Jabra device.
It's important to note that this add-on supports devices working through Jabra Link dongle or USB. However, controlling devices connected directly to Bluetooth is not yet supported.
To use the add-on, you'll need to provide HID permissions by clicking on the extension icon while on the Google Meet page. This allows the add-on to work seamlessly with your Jabra device.
The add-on has been tested with various Jabra devices, including Jabra Evolve2 85, Jabra Evolve2 75, Jabra Elite 85h, Jabra Evolve 40, Jabra Speak 510, and Jabra Speak 750.
